Day 154 – Espanola to Jamot

Today started off damp and got progressively wetter throughout the course of the ride.

That’s pretty much all there is to mention about today – I got wet. The roads I was on for the majority were busy and had a very narrow shoulder, so it wasn’t particularly nice riding either.

I realised the other day when it rained, that my new(ish) rear wheel fills with water. So I had to take the tyre and inner tube off to empty it out this evening as well.

My room tonight is now boiling, I turned up the heater in order to dry my shoes but it has backfired slightly. I’m just hoping I can still get to sleep.

Anyway, I’m rambling on about not very much so I think I’ll leave it there…

Distance: 104.4miles / 168km
Riding Time: 6:51:32
Av. Speed: 15.2mph / 24.5kph

  1. A flooded wheel, that’s a new one on me, I will have to give that one a little more thought, but the shoe debacle, now that’s funny. Hope you don’t suffocate overnight.
