London to Sydney done! Feels a bit surreal really. I’m now staying with my cousin and will be taking a day off tomorrow.
I’m unusually tired so I’m afraid I can’t really think of anything to write. I do however owe a huge thank you to Damian, John, Suzie and Jack for accompanying me today. ‘Twas a really nice ride.
I had my first taste of crocodile tonight (very good) so that was exciting but that’s all I can think to mention right now. It’s been a really good day but tiredness has suddenly hit me; which is surprising considering it’s been a relatively short day.
On a slightly unrelated note, I can smell my cycling shoes from over a metre away…
Distance: 73.3 miles / 118 km
Riding Time: 5:12:13
Av. Speed: 14 mph / 22.5 kph
Well done Tom. Hope you have time to enjoy the sights of Sydney.

Are you sure it’s just your shoes – think about which room your cousin has put you in!

Great work Thomas, well done. A terrific effort getting to Sydney. I thought of you when I opened the Times today. There is a twelve page guide on ” How to get fit on your bike”. I’ll keep it, as you might find it useful.
Go well. Will.
